November 2008 QST Feedback

In “Experimenter’s RF Spectrum Analyzer” [Oct 2008, pp 36-40], the author reports that the correct nomenclature for the DDS IC in the Softmark DDS module discussed in the text and shown in Figure 5 is an AD9851, not an AD8751 as indicated.

In “Microwavelengths” [Oct 2008, pp 95-96], the bottom circuit in Figure 3 has the transverter output taken from the wrong end of the 10 kW resistor. It should be on the collector end. — Ralph Simonton, AD6WZ
